WE-RISE Dedicated Startup Showcase Event in Paris

Paris, 30 March 2026 – As part of ChangeNOW week, WE‑RISE held a dedicated startup showcase event on 30 March 2026 at Bpifrance’s Haussmann offices, bringing together 10 women‑led startups developing solutions in ClimateTech, GreenTech and AgriTech.


Organised by Bpifrance within the framework of the European WE‑RISE project, the event hosted more than 70 investors and ecosystem stakeholders, creating a strong moment of exchange between founders and the innovation community. During the pitching session, selected startups presented high‑impact solutions addressing key climate and sustainability challenges, from hydrogen and energy storage to sustainable agriculture, environmental technologies and water treatment.


Spotlight on 10 women‑led startups

The following startups took part in the WE‑RISE Showcase Event:

  • Algbio Inc. - using microalgae to capture CO₂ and treat wastewater, transforming it into valuable biomaterials

  • ATOM H2 - converting renewable energy into hydrogen for storage

  • Change Bio - developing protein production platforms for sustainable applications

  • ColorSensing - providing color analysis technologies for quality control across industries

  • Cropt - leveraging data and AI to optimise agricultural performance

  • IBISA Network - building parametric insurance solutions for climate risks

  • Inobiostar - creating biodegradable materials to tackle marine pollution

  • reLi Energy - improving battery performance and lifetime through software

  • Seamoretech - transforming desalination waste into freshwater & valuable minerals

  • HYDRATICO - developing CO₂‑neutral, modular water treatment solutions using supercavitation


Voices from the WE‑RISE community

Beyond the pitching sessions, the event fostered meaningful discussions between founders, investors, innovation leaders and ecosystem partners, reinforcing WE‑RISE’s ambition to support the growth and visibility of women‑led startups in climate and sustainability sectors.

WE‑RISE consortium meeting

Alongside the startup showcase, WE‑RISE project partners also gathered in Paris for a consortium meeting to review programme progress and align on the next implementation phase. Discussions covered recent developments, including the outcomes of Open Call 2, and upcoming activities supporting women‑led innovation across Europe.
